<p>Abandoning the Aydar - Arnasay system of lakes to its fate, the current reservoir will share the fate of the Aral Sea within a short time and be lled with salt. As the level of water owing into Aydar-Arnasay Lake System (AALS) has lowered, the mineralization of the lake is going to increase. e growing level of the air pollution is expected to lead increasing of mineralization and decreasing of amount of water in the lake. Mineralization of the AALS’ waters continues to increase, which in turn reduces the development of sh breeding in the lake. Until it's too late, it is necessary to develop measures for the reconstruction and enrichment of the biota of the reservoir aimed for improving the reservoir and increasing its bio-productivity. One of the options to regulate the hydro chemical level in some of AALS parts can be construction of a dam between the Tuzkan and Aydar lakes. ere is a natural but currently submerged cape there. Using a hydro-mechanical model some calculations of the amounts of mineralization of the Tuzkan Lake were made in the case of the assumption of a hypothetical dam. Findings indicate that solidi cation and mineralization levels can be broadly regulated in this way.</p>
