DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF BACTERICIDAL SODIUM - CARBOXYMETHYLCELLULOSE IMPLANT FILMS CONTAINING SILVER NANOPARTICLES

Abstract

<p>Silver nanoparticles stabilized in sodium-carboxymethylcellulose (Na-CMC) solution&nbsp;with degree of substitution 0,65-0.85 and degree of polymerization 200-600 were synthesized.The structure, physico-chemical, mechanical properties and bactericidal activity of films obtained&nbsp;from solutions of Na-CMC containing silver nanoparticles were studied.The shape and size of&nbsp;silver nanoparticles in structure of Na-CMC films were determined using atomic force microscopy&nbsp;and UV - spectroscopy. It is established that with an increase in silver nitrate concentration in&nbsp;Na-CMC solutions and film, the size and shape of silver nanoparticles changed during photo irradiation. Studies have shown that the shape, size and number nanoparticles of silver determined&nbsp;their biological activity. It was found that an increase in the number of silver nanoparticles with&nbsp;sizes of 5-25 nm contributes to an increase in the bactericidal activity of Na-CMC films. A basic&nbsp;technological scheme and production technology for the biodegradable bactericidal Na-CMC&nbsp;films contained silver nanoparticles with specified dimensions with bactericidal and bacteriostatic&nbsp;properties, intended for the treatment of burns and trophic ulcers, have been developed.</p>
