<p>The article reviews the development features of farming and water industries in the upstream of Chirchik River in Bostanlik district. e study makes a particular emphasis on sustainable regional development of the farming industry, which is recognized as a distinctive feature of Bostanlik compared to the rest of Tashkent region. Moreover, it provides recommendations on the rational use of farming resources in view of ensuring a sustainable natural environment of the basin.</p>
