<p>Information and communication systems are the most dominant factors in increasing the efficiency of any process. Education management in modern conditions should be reformed in accordance with the requirements of the information society. The study attempts to analyze the features of the organization and development of an intellectual information system for managing the educational process and designing of the projects for centralized education management based on intelligent systems. The article discusses the basic concepts regarding the intelligent control system, unlike traditional forms of management and presents the architecture of centralized management in a knowledge economy. It concludes that the introduction of intelligent systems into education management is an inevitable process in the future, which urges a serious approach for designing such systems. </p>
