<p>The increase of an enterprise cost is considered as one of the main factors for sustainable development of the economy, since it is the important constituents of the national economy. The world practice has no a single approach to the factors affecting the increase in enterprise value. One of the significant factors to increase the value of an enterprise is ensuring its financial sustainability through the efficient use of the financial resources of an enterprise. Therefore, it is important to form a system of indicators characterizing the financial stability of an enterprise, analyze and take measures to ensure its financial stability. Indicators for financial sustainability of enterprises have not yet been integrated in a single system globally, and in different countries these indicators differ from each other. Companies’ profiles are taken into account when assessing the financial sustainability. This, in turn, creates difficulties in the full assessment of the financial sustainability of the companies. The article explores the scientific and theoretical aspects of cost estimation and enterprise management, and the effect of financial sustainability of companies on their cost. Relevant proposals for financial sustainability of enterprises have been developed.</p>
