<p>This research is devoted to the isolation of biologically active compounds from the fruit of Maclura pomifera, which are considered effective in the prevention and treatment of joint diseases, and to their practical application. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to develop import-substituting, highly <br /> antioxidant, and non-toxic natural products based on local raw materials. The aim of this work is to develop a technology for the isolation of rare metabolites from the fruit and to substantiate the possibilities of their application in the pharmaceutical and food industries. Modern physicochemical analytical methods, including extraction, chromatography, nanochromatography–mass spectrometry, and gel electrophoresis, were employed in the study. As a result, isoflavones such as pomiferin, osajin, and quercetin, as well as the protein <br /> macluralysin with a molecular weight of 65 kDa, were identified in the fruit. In addition, optimal conditions for the isolation of high-purity ellagic acid were established. Furthermore, a technological scheme for the production of a dietary supplement and a topical ointment based on the obtained extracts was developed. <br /> Pharmacotoxicological analysis confirmed the non-toxicity and high antioxidant activity of the extracts. The research findings indicate that Maclura pomifera metabolites can serve as a promising source for the enrichment of functional food products and for the treatment of joint diseases. The obtained results provide <br /> a scientific basis for the production of next-generation natural products in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors of our republic.</p>
