STUDY OF JOINING TECHNOLOGICAL PARAMETERS IN THE PROCESSING OF SPECIAL GARMENT COMPONENTS

Abstract

<p>&nbsp;This article investigates the technological parameters of joining&nbsp;components of special garments intended for workers of the assembly department&nbsp;in the automotive industry. In the joining of special garment parts, sewing thread&nbsp;and seam strength are the primary factors. The properties of sewing threads&nbsp;signi ficantly affect operational reliability and the formation of garment quality&nbsp;at all stages of production. The study of sewing-thread strength considered their&nbsp;composition, structure, and assortment; physical and mechanical properties;&nbsp;technological parameters of sewing threads (stitch density, thread tension,&nbsp;sewing-machine speed, etc.); the properties and fiber composition of twisted&nbsp;threads; as well as material assortment, fabric thickness, number of layers, and&nbsp;related parameters. A special clothing set consisting of a jacket and trousers was&nbsp;developed for assembly-shop workers of automotive enterprises based on a new&nbsp;<br /> fiber-composition fabric. In addition, technological methods for processing special-garment units were designed, an optimal method was recommended, and effective&nbsp;results were achieved.</p>
